About This Product:

James Courtney delivered a remarkable performance to claim victory in Race 27 of the 2015 Castrol Gold Coast 600, completing a memorable comeback after missing both the Sydney Motorsport Park SuperSprint and the Bathurst 1000 through injury. Returning to the cockpit of the Holden Racing Team’s #22 Holden VF Commodore, Courtney showed no signs of rust, charging to a hard-earned win on the streets of Surfers Paradise. The victory was made even more special by the contribution of co-driver Jack Perkins, who impressed throughout the weekend with strong and consistent pace. For Perkins, a respected and familiar figure within the Australian touring car community, the result marked his first-ever race win in the V8 Supercars Championship, making it a milestone achievement for both drivers and the entire Holden Racing Team.

By taking the chequered flag in the final race of the weekend, Courtney and Perkins secured a place on the podium alongside HRT teammates and 2015 Pirtek Enduro Cup winners Garth Tander and Warren Luff. The double-podium result showcased the strength of HRT during the endurance season and capped off a highly successful Gold Coast campaign. With Courtney’s inspiring return to victory lane and Perkins achieving a long-awaited career breakthrough, the 2015 Gold Coast 600 became a weekend that Holden Racing Team fans would remember for years to come.

The result was impressive, but the striking appearance of the #22 Holden was equally memorable. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Holden Racing Team, the VF Commodore featured a bold modern interpretation of HRT’s iconic lion and helmet emblem. Finished with eye-catching dayglo highlights alongside aggressive black and silver accents, the anniversary livery was one of the standout designs of the season. Under the golden surface paradise sun and street circuit atmosphere of the Gold Coast 600, the distinctive scheme became an instant fan favourite and remains one of the most recognisable HRT liveries of the modern era.

Perfect for Holden Racing Team fans and collectors.

For Future Release Model Cars:

We have A LOT of future release model cars listed on this website and it's not uncommon for these items to take anywhere between 6-18 months to arrive.

If you're interested in ordering/buying these models then you usually have two options available to you:

Pre-Order Model Cars At Your Local Stockist:

If a model car is marked as a future release on our website then please enquire about placing a pre-order with your local model car / hobby stockist as soon as possible.

Please note, all stockists are seperate businesses to Authentic Collectables, we are suppliers to them. Each stockist has different ways of how they accept pre-orders for future release models.

To find your local Authentic Collectables stockist, please click here.

Register Your Interest For Model Cars Here On Our Website:

You can also register your interest for future model car releases online with us to be notified when they are released.

To do this you need to navigate to the product page of the specific model you're interested in.

Once you're on the model product page, please click on the black 'Register Your Interest' button, enter your email or mobile number in the relevant section and submit the form.

When the model arrives in stock you will receive an advanced notification from us letting you know before anyone else that it is in stock with a link to complete and pay for your order while stock lasts.

Please ensure your email address or mobile number is right before submitting the register your interest form. Unfortunately a confirmation notification isn't sent when you register your interest for models on our website, the only time the system will notify you about that specific model will be when it arrives in stock.

We offer this option due to the amount of time models generally take to produce (usually 6-18 months) so you're not out of pocket until the model actually arrives.

If you need a refresher about what models you've registered your interest for previously, send us an email and we can let you know.

The above information is correct regarding the vast majority of models we release. However, there are some special editions or exclusives that we announce and release from time to time that may be treated differently, in these cases the relevant ordering information will be listed on the product page.
