New Model Announcements: 2013-2017 Ford FGX Falcon + Holden VF Commodore V8 Supercars Throwback Range

Authentic Collectables are excited to announce a new range of V8 Supercar models from the 2013-2017 era for collectors, featuring a mix of 2 Ford FGX Falcon and 3 Holden VF Commodore models in 1:18 scale.

Leading the new announcements is a pair of Tickford Racing Ford FGX Falcons that celebrate memorable moments from the team's history. The first is Cam Waters’ #6 Ford FGX Falcon from the 2015 ITM Auckland SuperSprint, marking his first solo Supercars Championship start, while the second is the #55 Ford FGX Falcon driven by Chaz Mostert and Steve Owen to victory in the 2017 Pirtek Enduro Cup, highlighted by their win at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600.

Dressed in the iconic Pepsi Max livery of the era, the Cam Waters model will be an important addition for fans of the driver while the #55 Supercheap Auto Falcon represents another unmistakable livery era and an endurance milestone for both the team and drivers, with this model coming with a scale replica of the Pirtek Endurance cup as an added display feature for collectors.

Continuing the Pirtek Enduro Cup-winning theme, the latest range also includes two memorable Holden Racing Team releases from the 2015 Castrol Gold Coast 600: the #2 Holden VF Commodore driven by Garth Tander and Warren Luff to win the 2015 Pirtek Enduro Cup title, and the #22 Holden Commodore of James Courtney and Jack Perkins, which claimed victory in Race 27 during a standout weekend for the iconic team, which also marked Jack Perkins' first Supercars race victory. Both releases also feature a scale replica of their respective trophies.

Rounding out this group of announcements is a special left of centre release commemorating Scott Pye’s full-time Supercars debut with Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport at the 2013 Clipsal 500 in Adelaide. After finishing runner-up in the 2012 V8 Supercars Development Series, Pye earned his opportunity in the main game, making this bright yellow #80 Holden VF Commodore an important milestone in the start of his Supercars career and an eye-catching piece for collectors.
